Advertising and Marketing: Branding

EXAMPLE:  Determine the Brand Ownership and Background using Lexis Nexis Academic.

1.  In Lexis Nexis Academic open the Search by Content Type drop-down menu.

2.  Under Companies, choose Company Profiles.

3.  Open the Advanced Options drop-down menu. Check the box in front of Hoover's Company and Industry Reports and type the brand name in the search box.

4.  In the results list, open the profile of the company listed first.

5.  Scroll down to the Brands section to be sure the brand is listed.
