There are many books in hard copy that can be useful to you. Some are in the Reference Collection (REF) which is located on the fourth floor of the Library. Turn left past the elevators, go all the way to the back, and look to your right. Other books are in the Main Stacks. Roman history is mostly in the D classification, while American history is in E and F. The Loeb Classical Library is located on the fourth floor - next to the Reference Collection. Loeb books can be checked out for seven days.
