Using MinerQuest and/ or Classic Catalog

UTEP Library homepage provides link to both MinerQuest and Classic Catalog (online).

MinerQuest is a comprehensive search tool supported by EBSCO. Classic Catalog, also known as Nugget, is another option to search our entire library holding. 

If you're looking for anything the library owns, you have the option of using either MinerQuest or Classic Catalog to perform your search.

MinerQuest Search Example

Searches are performed by using Keywords, Author or Title.

From left column, use Filters as necessary to narrow the search results.

Choose a record and click on title for abstract and detailed citation. Records may be e-mailed, printed, or saved as appropriate.

Classic Catalog Search Examples

Searches may be performed by Keywords, Subject, Author, Title, etc. Note that many searches can be limited by material type, location, etc. Records may be e-mailed, or saved as appropriate.
