What is in Special Collections?

Special Collections includes several different collections in differnt formats.  Of particular interest may be

the Carl Hertzog Collection -  Mr. Hertzog's personal books and books on printing, printing history, and examples of fine printing.

the Southwest and Border Studies Collection

the Faculty Collection - books and articles published by UTEP faculty and staff

Where is Special Collections

Special Collections in on the 6th floor.  It is only accessible from the Elevator.  You may leave by the stairs, but you must take the elevator to get there.

When is Special Collections open?

Special Collections has different hours than the rest of the library.

Their hours (during classes):

Monday - Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday 8:00am - 9:00pm
Thursday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday* 9:00am - 1:00pm
Sunday Closed
