National Council of La Raza Research

Migration Policy Institute
Founded in 2001 by Demetrios G. Papademetriou and Kathleen Newland, the Migration Policy Institute (MPI) grew out of the International Migration Policy Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. MPI provides analysis, development, and evaluation of migration and refugee policies at the local, national, and international levels. Its website links to MPI publications.
National Immigration Law Center
Founded in 1979, the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) is a national legal advocacy organization in the United States that has information about health care and public benefits, immigration reform, immigration enforcement, workers' rights, education, and NILC litigation.

Center for Immigration Studies
An independent, non-partisan, non-profit, research organization providing information about the social, economic, environmental, security, and fiscal consequences of legal and illegal immigration into the United States.
Center for U.S. - Mexican Studies
The Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies is based at UC San Diego's School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS) and is a policy research institute. Since 1980, it has been a go-to source for serious academic research on Mexico and U.S.-Mexico relations.
Mexican Migration Project
The Mexican Migration Project (MMP) was created in 1982 by an interdisciplinary team of researchers to further understanding of the process of Mexican migration to the United States. The project is a binational research effort co-directed by Jorge Durand, professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Guadalajara (Mexico), and Douglas S. Massey, professor of Sociology and Public Affairs at Princeton University (US).
Pew Hispanic Center
Founded in 2001, the Pew Hispanic Center is a nonpartisan research organization that seeks to improve understanding of the U.S. Hispanic population and to chronicle Latinos’ impact on the nation. The Center is a project of the Pew Research Center, a nonpartisan “fact tank” in Washington, DC that provides information on the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world.

Founded in 1968, the Urban Institute is a nonpartisan economic and social policy research center that gathers data, conducts research, evaluates programs, offers technical assistance overseas, and educates Americans on social and economic issues.
