How to Search Opposing Viewpoints in Context (Gale)

The Topic Finder search tool will introduce you to keywords and other topics related to your search.  It helps you see a visualization of all the material related to your topic.  This can help you choose a topic, investigate related topics, and narrow or expand your current search.

Step 1: Click on Advanced Search under the Search Box:

 

Step 2:  On the Advanced Search page click on Topic Finder:

Step 3:  Once there, type in your topic (for example Global Warming):

As you interact with the various topics, Topic Finder provides an updated list of results. Simply click an article’s title to view the result. Pay close attention to the keywords assigned to each of the entries. They can help you choose, narrow down, and get information on your topic.

The full record of an entry has an “Explore” section which provides access to related articles.
