If you're not on-campus but need to use the UTEP Library's online resources, you must verify that you are a UTEP affiliate. Here's two ways to get access:
1. Connect to GlobalProtect VPN (highly recommended)
A VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. This gives your device a secure UTEP IP address; sites will 'think' you're at UTEP when you're connected. The best part? You only have to login once! For Setup How-To + Download Links:
2. Connect to UTEP Library's Proxy Server
Follow the prompt to sign in using your UTEP credentials (username and password) before accessing a database or e-book. You will be prompted to authenticate/login every time you access a protected resource (i.e., databases). Note that this option doesn't get you into all UTEP databases (some require IP authentication via VPN).
