UTEP Proposal Development Team

The Proposal Development Team (DevT) provides services to UTEP faculty and administrators in support of the development and writing of competitive proposals to federal agencies, foundations and private agencies. The mission of the DEVT is to enhance UTEP's capabilities for research and sponsored projects and increase the university's stature as a research institution.

National Library of Medicine - NIH Grant Tutorials
Tutorials on various aspects of the NIH grant process including the grant review process, human subjects protection, grant writing tips, and electronic submission.
Science Careers Editors - The NIH RO1 Toolkit
An article from the journal Science, first published in 2001 and periodically updated. "The NIH RO1 Toolkit" has provided clarity to many beginning researchers in the NIH grant process.

A comprehensive guide available in HTML and PDF formats to grant writing for all types of funding organizations.
