It is always good to start your research with a simple keyword search.
You can also click on relevant subject headings and search authors' names (last name, first name) and titles.
You might need to narrow your search terms and use Boolean operators such as "and" & "or" & "not" to refine your search.
You can search using the Classic Catalog or MinerQuest (which also searches databases and other resources).
Go to the library homepage and click on the "Articles and Databases" tab.
You can either click on the alphabetical listing or browse databases by subject.
You can also directly enter a database name in the library catalog to access the resource.
The UTEP Library has created tutorials on searching the library catalog, using RefWorks, exploring databases, and other topics.
