HIST 1301 - Stanfield

Research guide for students in Dr. Stanfield's History 1301 course.

Searching the Library Catalog

It is always good to start your research with a simple keyword search.

You can also click on relevant subject headings and search authors' names (last name, first name) and titles.

You might need to narrow your search terms and use Boolean operators such as "and" & "or" & "not" to refine your search.

Accessing Databases

Go to the library homepage and click on the "Articles and Databases" tab.

You can either click on the alphabetical listing or browse databases by subject.

You can also directly enter a database name in the library catalog to access the resource.
