About Rhetoric and Writing Studies (RWS) 5317: Editing

This graduate-level course is an examination of practical applications of conventions for writing, copy marking, copyediting, comprehensive editing, and web editing. The course addresses rhetorical elements such as audience, purpose, authorship, ideology, and design of web-based and print documents from a variety of sources, e.g., discipline-based, private industry, public sector, and the academy.

2 Options:

1. Connect to UTEP's Server

• sign in when prompted
• you will be prompted to (log in) every time you access a UTEP subscription resource (i.e., databases)

• gives your device a secure UTEP IP address; sites will 'think' you're at UTEP when you're connected
• log in at the beginning of your browsing session, log out when you're done
