Using MinerQuest and Classic Catalog

UTEP Library homepage provides link to both MinerQuest and Advanced Search.

MinerQuest, a comprehensive search tool, is used to perform search on given topic(s) for various sources available to UTEP students, faculty, staff and community users. Search can be done either by Keywords, Title, OR Author. Option for Advanced Search is also available.

MinerQuest Search Example

Search may be performed by Keywords, Title, or Author. Records may be e-mailed, or saved as appropriate

 

From the list, choose a title for detailed information. Click on "Available Online" link to access full article/ e-book.

From off campus, please use Campus VPN to login.

For print copies, use call #s to locate the item.

Click on Locate for the floor maps

Items may be checked out at the Access Services with valid UTEP IDs.

Course Reserves Search Examples

Course Reserves can be searched by using Advanced Search option. Materials put on reserve for students by their instructors. Searches are performed by course name/ number or by instructor name. Printed items are checked out at Access Services with UTEP IDs.

Choose Course Reserve option. From the drop down menu choose Course Name and Course ID OR Course Instructor and perform the search

For e-reserves, log in with UTEP credentials.
