Classic Catalog 

Starting Your Research

To find books in the library you will need to use the Library Catalog.

You can search the Classic Library Catalog by:

• Keyword
• Title
• Author
• Subject
• Advanced Search
• You can also use Encore to do a quick search of the Library Catalog.

1. Limit your results to E-books only.
2. When you  access an E-book and you see a message stating "the e-book is in use"; wait 30-50 minutes to become available, and try again.

Off campus access to the electronic books are available to current UTEP faculty, staff, and students only via the following methods:

1. The Campus VPN (broadband users only)
