The APS has assisted thousands of scholars in the past and encourages all eligible current candidates to apply for their grants and fellowships.
The Howard Foundation awards a limited number of fellowships each year for independent projects in selected fields. The Foundation targets its support specifically to early mid-career individuals, those who have achieved recognition for at least one major project. Approximately ten fellowships are awarded in the spring in the fields of Creative Writing in English: Fiction and Poetry.
Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS)

The Institute's mission is to create strong libraries and museums that connect people to information and ideas. The Institute works at the national level and in coordination with state and local organizations to sustain heritage, culture, and knowledge; enhance learning and innovation; and support professional development.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is an independent federal agency created in 1965. It is one of the largest funders of humanities programs in the United States.
Latino Public Broadcasting Funding for Independent Producers
The Public Media Content Fund is an open invitation to independent producers to submit proposals for a program, series or short digital video on any subject that relates to or is representative of Latino Americans

One of ORSP's many services is to provide proposal development assistance and institutional endorsement for funding applications. The ORSP site is an excellent place to begin when searching for funding opportunities while also using the University Library's print and digital resources.
