Personal Librarian Program

What is a Personal Librarian?

Personal Librarians provide students with help in discovering all of the resources the library has to offer. Each student has a personal librarian that can provide them with access to various resources. They serve as the main point of contact for all things library-related.

How Can A Personal Librarian Help Me?

A Personal Librarian can:

  • Answer any questions about library resources and services
  • Develop a research topic and/or refine a topic
  • Develop research strategies to effectively search

  • Keep you informed about any library news, events, and workshops
  • Provide research consultation
  • Connect you with other UTEP resources on campus

A Personal Librarian will not:
