Students can access the Checkpoint Edge database through the library’s IP authenticated access (Library's website) without needing a personal account, but everyone must register for a separate Thomson Reuters ID (TRID) to access the Checkpoint Edge training.

The TRID is not the same as your Checkpoint ID and password; it’s a separate login which everyone must create to access the training.

How to access complimentary training:

1. Register for a Thomson Reuters ID (TRID): https://accreditationwidgets-app.opt.thomsonreuters.com/trid-registration?branchId=TAXPROS

2. Log into the Learning Center: https://training-taxpros.thomsonreuters.com/learn

3. Once you have logged in, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the "Enter Your Subscription Code Here" section. Enter in edgeuniversity (all lowercase) to get immediate access to your complimentary trainings.

AFTER YOU USE THE SUBSCRIPTION CODE ONCE, THE EDGE COURSES WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR LEARNING ACCOUNT AND THE CODE WILL NO LONGER WORK. THE COURSES WILL BE STORED IN THE MAIN PAGE SO THAT YOU CAN ACCESS THEM AT ANY TIME.
