Library Services During Limited Campus Operations

Remote Access

Off-campus (remote) access to the electronic materials found in the Classic Catalog, MinerQuest and the Library's other databases require a connection to UTEP's network.  UTEP faculty, staff, and students can connect via the following methods:

  1. Global Protect VPN
    • For PCs and Macs
  2. The Library’s Proxy Server.
    • not secure; use on devices to which you do not have administrator access

Questions or Problems?

If you are using the VPN and are having problems connecting to the network, contact the campus Help Desk or (915) 747-5257.

To report a technical problem with any of the Library’s electronic databases or e-journals, contact a member of the E-Resources Team -- Lisa Borden, (915) 747-6709, John Padilla, (915) 747-6706 -- Monday to Friday, 8:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. Voicemail messages and emails will be returned the next day of business.
