UTEP Campus Career Resources

The UTEP Career Center offers general career guidance, including a wide variety of services and resources that can help you explore career options that align with your interests and values.The Career Center offers career advising, one-on-one help in crafting your resume, mock interviews, and workshops on a number of career-related topics.   • Occupational Outlook Handbook (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) - provides an overview of various occupations. It includes information about the nature of work, working conditions, training and education, salaries, and expected job growth. 
  • O*NET Online (U.S. Department of Labor) - Source of highly detailed descriptions of hundreds of occupations covering the entire U.S. economy.
  • Career Insider: The Intelligence You Need for the Career You Want - database that provides comprehensive information pertaining to careers and vocational guidance.
  • CareerOneStop (data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) - career and job search resources.
