Welcome to the UTEP Library!

The UTEP Library has been designed to provide University and community users with a modern and efficient facility for study and research.

The building houses over one million books, 200,000 government documents, over 1,000,000 microforms and provides access to 380 online databases. 

Our Mission is to  provide innovative and high quality services, programs, and resources that support UTEP's stated mission of education, research, scholarship, and community service.

Circulation Policy for Graduates

You can check out items from the UTEP Library using your Miner Gold Card, simply take the item(s) to the Access Services department located in the main floor of the library.

How to Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

If the UTEP Library doesn't have it, get it from another library for free with Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

  • If the UTEP Library does not have it the item you need, get it through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)!
  • ILL will request the item from other libraries around the world
  • Request items through ILL online, using ILLiad!
  • ILL service is free to UTEP students, staff, and faculty members <3

The University Writing Center is located in Library room 227, next to the reference desk.

They offer free drop-in tutoring.  Or if you are interested in their online tutoring service, you can also submitt your document online.  Check out their working hours!

 

The Math Resource Center for Students (MaRCS) in located in Library room  218, next to the reference desk.

Math tutors are there to help you you master the mathematics you need in order to succeed in your education and in your career. Check out their working hours!

 

The Technology Support Center is located in Library room 300.

They provide help with technology services for the university community. Check out their working hours!

 

The Military Student Sucess Center is located in Library room 205, next to reference collection.

It is the central point of coordination for support services to meet the needs of military-affiliated students. Check out their working hours!
