Resource Description & Access

This libguide is meant to be used to assist in our transition in cataloging standards from the Anglo-American Cataloging Rules (AACR2) to Resource Description and Access (RDA). It is of most use in Technical Services for copy cataloging and original cataloging, however, familiarity with the changes benefits anyone that works in the library as common record fields will be displayed slightly differently than before.

The libguide will provide essential resources for those of us interested in learning how the library catalog and it's contents will evolve as a result of the digital information environment.

Enjoy!
