How to Use Anatomy.tv

The UTEP Library's subscription to the virtual cadaver and anatomy product, Anatomy.tv, is feature-rich... but you might need a little help gettings started. Here's a how-to!

QUICK START GUIDE TO USING 3D Anatomy for Speech Language Pathology

3D VIEWS
Click on the 3D Views tab to the right of the screen to display a list of all available 3D views. This tab is used to quickly navigate around the product.

ANATOMY
The Layer control at the bottom of the screen adds/removes layers of anatomy by using the drop-down menu and the up/down arrows. The outer arrows rotate the 3D model by 9 frames in either direction; the inner arrows rotate the 3D model by one frame. 

Click on any structure and related text appears to the right on the screen. 

Click on Save or Print at any time.

CLINICAL INFORMATION
Click on the Clinical Information button to learn more about normal function, for example articulation, and explore a range of disorders relevant to Speech Language Pathology.

PATIENT INFORMATION
Click on the Patient Information button to access a series of patient information sheets, which you can save, print and edit.

CONTENTS
Click on the Contents icon at the top left of the screen to open a list of expandable folders containing text articles for all structures as well as slides, movies, animations, and 3D and MRI views.

SEARCH
Click on the Search icon at the top left of the screen to search the entire contents of this title.

INDEX
Click on the Index icon at the top left of the screen to list all anatomical structures, slides, movies, animations, and 3D views alphabetically.
